Create and update records
Use Records to add or edit a debt. Select its currency and enter amounts in that currency. Currencies are kept separate; the app does not exchange or combine them. Record a payment from the debt detail screen, including any interest or fee amounts.
Understand the plan
Plan ahead is an estimate, not a lender statement or financial advice. It assumes constant APR divided by 12, rounded monthly interest, no new borrowing or fees, and a constant total monthly budget. Check your actual lender terms and record real payments separately.
Back up before changing devices
In Settings, export a JSON backup and save it somewhere private. JSON import replaces financial records only after your confirmation. CSV is for a spreadsheet, not for restoring the app. Keep the JSON file if you need to restore. Canceling a picker or replacement confirmation keeps your current records.
If records need recovery
Do not erase the app or overwrite the only backup. Use Settings to export the recovery archive first. Read-only recovery prevents new edits until you review the recovered records or import a valid backup. Reload stored records after a temporary storage problem is resolved.
Purchases and refunds
An unavailable store must not block recording, exporting or reading your data. Restore purchases uses the Apple account that made the purchase when billing is configured. A restore error does not prove that you have never paid. Apple handles purchase refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Current preparation builds are not proof of an App Store release or available purchase.
